Exam Platform
Foundation qualification and part of the Practitioner certification is achieved via an only knowledge-based exam.
The bSI Qualification Platform is built in Moodle (LMS V3.7) one of the most widely used open source free learning management systems. You can view the platform and register for a short demo exam with the following link.

Foundation level exam
Students who have undertaken approved training will be eligible to sit an exam and become bSI Qualified.
Testing and qualification is managed via the online Qualification Platform. The exam is to be completed in 30 minutes and is based on 25 (+5 for Chapter localisation) randomly selected multiple-choice questions from the question database. The exam costs between EUR75-125 (adjusted for local market conditions). The pass rate is 75% and Students will be notified directly after their exam of their results. Successful candidates will immediately receive their buildingSMART Professional Certificate and digital badge. Students may also choose to have their names listed in the buildingSMART Professional Certification registry.
